Gifts for the new baby

On November 16, in a gesture to welcome and embrace Mira and Young Gil Fleisher, a young couple who are expecting a baby on December 21, WFWP held a girl baby shower for Mira who is eight months pregnant. The couple has only recently moved to the Denver community, where Young Gil's parents live.

Tami Tamayo and Joelle Alves planned and organized the entire event with a Parisian theme. The colors they chose were white, pink, and black. Mira wore a white and black shirt. A pink sash was draped over her bodice that read "Mommy To Be," which you can see in the pictures.

Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa to missionary parents, Mira was radiant as she opened her gifts for their first child.

The entire Denver community waits with great joy for this Christmas baby.
