I went to the America and God's Will Commemoration Banquet celebrating the 40th Anniversary held at the Washington Times Ballroom on September 16, 2016 in Washington, DC. I'd like to address the leadership of Rev. Sun Myung Moon that was highlighted during the event. The expressions of love for Rev. Moon during the event highlighted his everyday practice of respect for others. I am impressed that Rev. Moon was an enthusiastic person, which is still infectious. His efforts and collective traits continue to create goodwill and productive partnerships that have and continue to benefit, enrich, and enhance the quality of life for so many families and people worldwide. Having met him, I remember his joyful personality seen in his bright smile. I salute Rev. Moon as a true leader who practiced civility, compassion, and expecting us to live for the sake of others.
