Teresa Ferette & Erica Selle hosting "Etiquette Night" at the CARP Convention

During the National Convention of the Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (CARP), "Momentum 2014," college students gathered at the University of Maryland at College Park from across the country and even from around the world to share best practices and study how core principles can change not only one's personal life but the lives of those around. The one-week program covered topics like goal setting, networking, and public speaking, as well as discussions on purpose-driven life, genuine relationships, and inherent value.

On Thursday, July 31, the day focused on "Inherent Value" and how it applies to elegance, presence, and etiquette. Throughout the day participants discussed how their value isn't determined by their grades, looks, or popularity, but rather by their inner spirit and divinity within. With this confidence and assurance, participants then had the chance to see how that inner value could be portrayed and expressed in the best ways possible.

Women's Federation for World Peace helped to host "Etiquette Night" at the CARP Convention. The president of WFWP, Mrs. Angelika Selle, gave introductory remarks to over 70 students that highlighted the common vision between CARP and WFWP and encouraged students, both men and women, to let their inner light shine brightly. Then she invited her daughter-in-law, Erica Selle, to share on "How to Present Your Best Self in the Professional Environment."

The presentation was lively, interactive, and so enjoyable. After the general presentation on appearance and manners, men and women split into separate breakouts to further discuss best practices. Participants continued to rave that this session was lots of fun, memorable, and a perfect way to finish the day with the theme "Inherent Value and Esteem."
