Jan 21–Boston, MA: Prayer breakfast in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Jan 25-27 – Minneapolis, MN: “Women as the Turning Points of Peace – New Beginnings, New Era, New Mindset” Seminar, the first event held by the newly opened chapter; President Selle welcomed and installed new Chairwoman Mrs. Jeannette Henry

Mar 4 – New York, NY: UN CSW 57 Forum Parallel Event, “Women Standing Up to Violence: Finding Ways Through Hope and Connections”,

Mar 15 – Las Vegas, NV: Chapter kick-off event, facilitated by Kimiyo Anceny; President Selle, introduced Global Women Peace Network (GWPN)

Mar 17 – Los Angeles, CA: Monthly meeting focused on the issue of safe, clean water as a basic human right; the main speaker, Hadiara Diallo, director of microfinance at Wells Bring Hope, an organization striving to provide clean, safe water in Niger, one of the most water-deprived countries on earth

Mar 23 – Atlanta, GA: Seminar on “Why Sexual Abstinence is Important from a Spiritual Standpoint;” presenters from different religions presented their views

Mar 23 – Minneapolis, MN: Video of President Selle giving “HerStory” shown; WFWP four focus points elucidated by Chairwoman Jeannette Henry; talk on the “Feminine Wisdom and Power of Healing” given by Ms. Patrice Nerad

Mar 27 – Columbus, OH: "HerStory: A Divine Principle Perspective" presented by Chairwoman Caryn Olsson, included founding mothers of different religions stories

Apr 11-14 – Annual Chairwoman’s Retreat in San Antonio, TX;  President Selle presented Vision 2020 and WFWP’s participation; Mrs. Denneze Nelson, retreat coordinator, gave practical training on running a chapter and doing successful local projects; group discussion included brainstorming about “HerStory” education, forming a young women’s component, mother’s clubs, working with the UN, and substantializing and deepening the Bridge of Peace; Mrs. Alexa Ward, former President of WFWP, shared her wisdom and experiences

Apr 20 – Tennessee Chapter: Clean Slate Curriculum training seminar, presented by Mrs. Heidi Iseda, project coordinator

Apr 20 – Northern California: Annual Schools of Africa Project Fundraiser; Japanese Children's Festival called “Hina Doll & Koinobori Festival;” raised funds to support WFWP school in Mozambique and two local non-profits that improve the lives of children and youth: Big Brother/Big Sister of Oakland and Niroga Institute of Berkeley

Apr 27 – Northern California: Clean Slate Curriculum presentation by Sarah Brown and Brian Lancaster

Apr 28 – Paterson, NJ: co-sponsored the 11th Annual Women's Interfaith Symposium with Sadaqa, Inc. with the theme, “Heart to Heart;” included a Bridge of Peace reconciliation ceremony and presenting individual women’s faith stories to foster understanding and peace

May 4 – Groveport, OH: Bridge of Peace ceremony with the Women’s Auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community; “HerStory” presentation by Yusun Abrahams

May 19 – Southern California: Bridge of Peace focusing on healing the relationship between mothers and daughters, and including pairs representing all family relationships

May 25 – Denver, CO: 2nd Annual Mother’s Day Luncheon featuring videos of WFWP founder and the Bridge of Peace Ceremony

May 25 – Minneapolis, MN: “Building Relationships” including a short presentation on WFWP website, testimonies on family relationships; flower arranging demonstration and practice

June 1 – Philadelphia, PA: First Annual Purity Essay Contest Award Ceremony; essays written on the topic, “What are the benefits of maintaining sexual purity before marriage?”

June 8-15 – WFWP USA supported the Trail of Tears Prayer Journey financially and with prayer as WFWP members joined in the journey and participated in cities along the way

June 22-30 – 6th Annual Haiti Relief Service Project, with Mrs. Evelyne Drake, WFWP Florida and project coordinator; focused on character education, HerStory lectures, Divine Principle presentations as well as practical medical help; President Selle joined the team of volunteers

July 4 – PA Chapters: Independence Day Parade; distributed speeches by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon; received silver medal for great participation and 2nd place best marchers of the year

July 13 – Las Vegas, NV: Parents’ Day celebration; four officials in the US Congress gave the awards: Councilwoman Gerri Schroder and Judge Cheryl Moss participated; raised funds to help victims of domestic violence

July 20 – Minneapolis, MN: “Love without Condition” benefit relief performance to support local Haiti community

July 22 – Aug 23 – WFWP USA National initiative calling for Prayer and Action, in preparation for the commemoration of WFWP Co-Founder, Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon’s ascension

July 27 – Minneapolis, MN:  “Barriers Between Religions,” with young lady speaker, Ms. Greta Anderson

July 27 – New York, NY: Parents’ Day 2013 President Angelika Selle gave keynote address, “Parents and Spirituality;” Vice President Juanita Pierre-Louise gave presentation on health

Aug 1 – WFWP USA Board of Directors appointed

Aug 18 – MN: “Eid Spa Day” celebrated the end of Ramadan fasting with Muslim community women

Aug 24 – Northern VA: Inauguration of monthly Bake Sale for “1% Love Share Project” raising funds to send to needy women and children in North Korea

Aug 22 – Chicago, IL: “A Legacy of True Love: Honoring the Life of Rev. Sun Myung Moon through a Celebration of our Memories” evening commemoration ceremony

Aug 31 – Philadelphia, PA: Celebration of marriage including a Bridge of Peace ceremony; Regional Chairwoman Denneze Nelson and others from the WFWP New Jersey Chapter assisted

Sep 3 – Las Vegas, NV: Dinner with WFWP Founder’s son, Mr. Kwon Jin Moon and his wife Hwayun, empowering the chapter with his words of trust in the leadership of women

Sep 7 – Los Angeles, CA: Event to celebrate the live and legacy of WFWP Co-Founder, Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon

Sep 7 – MD: Energy Healing seminar by Mrs. Diane Faure using Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine system

Sep 7 – Tempe, AZ: “Color Me New” annual healing retreat for Arizona WFWP chapter

Sep 14 – NJ: GWPN launched in New Jersey region and proposed a joint service project with Honduras to go and empower women there

Sep 21 – Portland, OR: International Peace Day ceremony including the “water unity ceremony” where people from all faith backgrounds poured water into a bowl to show their unity

Oct 7-10 – London, UK: President Selle and a team of 10 ladies were a delegation sent by WFWP USA to the WFWP International Assembly

Oct 24 – Washington, DC: 21st National Assembly launching of “Day of Service,” service project for young people and the young at heart, organized by WFWP Board Members Mrs. Juanita Pierre-Louis, WFWP New York and a team of dedicated women leaders

Oct 26 – University Park, MD: Main Event of WFWP USA 21st National Assembly "Learn to Lead: Raising the Next Generation of Women Leaders," including GWPN Speaker Panel and Bridge of Peace to “Heal America’s Wounds;” held at the University of Maryland

Nov 2 - Columbus, OH: The tenth time the Bridge of Peace Ceremony held at the International Festival and Health Fair

Nov 6 – Washington, DC: President Selle spoke at the forum on “Human Trafficking and Poverty, A Critical Connection: Creating a Culture Free of Slavery”

Nov 8 - Warren, MI: International Dinner and Bridge of Peace Ceremony attended by Chicago WFWP representative, Mrs. Fannie Smith and WFWP Regional Chairwoman, Mrs. Patricia Fliginger; Ambassador of Peace awards conferred to three women of peace
