On October 27, 2013, Mrs. Laurette Heppell welcomed the guests who had come to a special health seminar organized by the Denver Chapter of WFWP. She introduced a short video that presented the mission, goals, and activities of WFWP.

Mrs. Shirley Chimes gave a presentation on the reciprocal relationship between the physical self and the spiritual self based on the Divine Principle, a teaching of the Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon, Co-Founder of WFWP. This topic was the foundation for the whole event. Mrs. Chimes gave examples of ways to create a healthy and harmonious relationship between the two selves. She emphasized the importance of living a life for the sake of others and of doing good deeds, because what we do gives vitality to our spirit.

Following Mrs. Chimes, Mrs. Catherine Ichinohe gave a presentation on "The Human Body, a Magnificent Machinery." She started with some amazing facts about the human body. This got everyone's attention, especially the women when she mentioned the fact that women have a much better sense of smell than men. She explained how God designed the body in a way that every organ, every cell exists for a higher purpose and a greater good, and that everything should work in balance and harmony.

She explained that most of the time disease is caused by imbalance in the body, and can be prevented and cured in most cases by proper nutrition. Break-out sessions followed the presentation. The participants had the opportunity to share their spiritual experiences, as well as their own secrets for good health. Short reports afterwards gave the whole group a taste of everyone's experience.

After the presentation and discussion, Mrs. Hisako Geschwind had prepared and offered some incredibly healthy snacks and juices to nourish our physical bodies as well. She explained the health benefits of each one. The meeting was adjourned on a joyful note.
