Mrs. Moriko Hori is the International President and the National President of WFWP Japan since 2016. She oversees 800 chapters nationwide and focuses on community activities related to family and youth education.
She is also the Director of Global Development and Aid projects for WFWP International and has worked on more than 110 humanitarian projects in 50 countries that contribute to the realization of the SDGs, particularly in the areas of women's empowerment, poverty eradication, AIDS prevention education, education assistance, and medical assistance. Some of its projects have been selected by the United Nations as best practices (https://csonet.org).
She graduated from Columbia University, USA with Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology. She also graduated from the graduate school of Waseda University, Japan with a degree of M.A. and finished her Ph.D. program in International Relations. Her specialty is Japan-Korea History Education and Reconciliation Studies. She also serves as a senior researcher and on the board of directors at the Institute for Peace Policies.
Mrs. Kaeleigh Moffitt currently serves as the International Vice President and President of the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) North America. A passionate advocate for peace and family values, Kaeleigh believes that her most important contribution to a better world is her role as a devoted wife and mother of three young children.
Her journey in leadership began early—she started leading youth activities in her early teens and became a youth pastor at just 16 years old. In 2014, she expanded her work with youth and young adults on a national level through the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU). Her dedication and vision led her to become the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for FFWPU in 2019 and the founding director of the Young Christian Leadership Conference.
In April 2021, Kaeleigh joined the Universal Peace Federation USA (UPF-USA) as a Congressional Liaison, furthering her commitment to interfaith dialogue and policy engagement.
Academically, Kaeleigh holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Operations Management and Family Science from the University of Maryland. She is currently in her final semester of a Master’s degree in Peace Studies at the Unification Theological Seminary.
Kaeleigh is also the former President of WFWP USA, having served in that role for over two years before stepping into her current international leadership position.
