Since returning from North Carolina, and giving the WFWP Sunday Service in Cary, I felt totally inspired that we have a WFWP Sunday Service in Columbus, Ohio. We all discussed this, in one of our meetings, and decided to proceed. We felt it was high time that the feminine aspect of God was acknowledged!! Our beloved True Mother is calling on all of us women to take leadership roles seriously, and based upon her vision, we went forward to plan and conquer!! With love and heart, of course!!! Along with giving service, we decided to also have an information table with membership forms, WFWP literature as well as Relationship Intelligence materials.

On Sunday morning, to a packed congregation, one of our newly appointed pastors, Yusun Abrahams, introduced WFWP. She was very eloquent in her introduction. Then, Susan Nishio gave a heartfelt prayer that set the stage for the service. Caryn Olsson then came to the stage, introducing all WFWP Board members. Then, she gave her message, which was an overview of Relationship Intelligence, a risk avoidance curriculum founded by Dr. Richard Panzer. She started with a Bible quote from Genesis 1:27 "God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him: male and female he created them". Then there was a reading from a section of a speech by Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon called "God's Ideal Family: The Model for World Peace".

Our families are made up of INDIVIDUALS, and by developing our SELF, we are able to mature our love. We all are looking for love, and it doesn't matter if you are Japanese, Korean, Swedish, Russian, or from any country in the world, we all are searching for love. It is the root of many addictions. Our body was created to love and to receive love. We are living in a society that is solely focused on looking for love in someone else. We think that if so and so loved me, than my life would be happier. Or if I was recognized for my achievements, I would be happy. We make that into our addiction. By having that viewpoint, we live on a dangerous treadmill of emotions.

We must not follow our emotions into love; what Dr. Panzer refers to as "Lighter Fluid Love". After the lighter fluid is sprinkled over the coals, and the match is set to them, the fire burns very fast for a small time period. This is what happens in our society, and why we need to train our bodies when we are young, to develop healthy relationships. This is hard work and takes time and effort. YOU have the power over your own future. Please don't give it away casually. YOU are in control. Lasting love must be created. It is not something you stumble into, but something that is so very precious it takes much effort and patience to develop it.

The sermon touched on other points, such as bullying, abuse and reporting it to someone when you see it. We all have to step up and speak out when we witness bullying and abuse of any kind.

In conclusion, we all felt very grateful to give our WFWP Service and we hope we can give more in the future!!
