India: Donate for Covid Relief

Dear friends,

It is with a heavy heart that we think and pray for our brothers and sisters in India. If you are not already aware of the crisis in India, here are a few facts:

  • Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 19.6 million COVID cases in India.

  • India is currently the center of the pandemic with as many as 350,000 new cases and almost 3,000 deaths are reported everyday (the number can be up to 10 times higher).

  • Hospitals are out of resources (oxygen and empty beds) and parks are being turned into cremation grounds as morgues are overwhelmed.

  • Less than 2% of the population is fully vaccinated.

Yes, we are heartbroken and saddened by the reality of the state of our world. This pandemic has challenged our international community in different ways allowing each one of us to utilize our qualities of selflessness and compassion as we continue to navigate through uncertainty. WFWP believes in leading with a mother’s heart and with this, we urge you to pray and give for India. As Mother Teresa said “Love is not patronizing, and charity isn’t about love. Charity and love are the same – with charity you give love.”

If you feel led, you can donate to any of the following organizations advocating for the relief of our family in India:
