We Sing, Pray for and Support Ukraine! How to Help
All of us are quite impacted by the war in Eastern Europe, in different ways of course. My entire family lives in Germany and there is only one country in between Ukraine and Germany. Many of us have friends or family members in Europe, Ukraine, Russia, and/or surrounding countries. The sentiment or thought we all have is probably how can we help, what can I do?
The news we see and hear of personal stories from refugees or people living in conflict zones tear at our hearts. We long to support them with prayer as well as in a tangible ways. I researched the organizations listed below and can recommend them on behalf of WFWP:
Samaritan Purse has current updates on their website; I also called them to verify their current work in Ukraine.
David Beasley, head of the World Food Program appealed on Facebook to support the crisis in Ukraine. He also spoke at a recent Think Tank by the Universal Peace Federation. https://www.wfp.org/emergencies/ukraine-emergency

Abundance International is hosting a We Sing for Ukraine campaign to gather donations to support Ukraine. The Heavenly USA group sang together with the Soul Choir of Chicago for this campaign. Click here to see the video
