WFWP Maryland’s Teamwork makes the dream work!

Our Maryland WFWP team exceeded our goal of raising $1,000 for Schools of Africa this summer by doing yard sales and online sales. We are grateful to our WFWP alumni Susan Fefferman and Mariko Sheffrin, Tomoko Krienbuehl as well as all others who donated items. We'd also like to give a special thank you to Kim Dadachanji and Emiko Butler who let us use their yards for the sale. We would have never reached the goal if it was not for Andrea Rissanen’s skills and tenacity with online sales. Last but not least, thank you to the young women like Tsurue Matsuba, Fuyu Fujioka and Yujin Glass who came to help. We were happy to have had our WFWP USA President, Angelika Selle, visit, donate, and shop at the yard sale.

We had such a spectrum of customers. One just bought a box, which was a collector's item—something we were not even aware of. One young lady who has a Facebook ministry was guided by the holy spirit to stop and shop. Even a seven-year-old boy came three times to buy jewelry!

We are so happy to continue to help the Schools of Africa project!
