"A Unified Korea: Finding Seeds of Hope" - Women's Leadership in Reconciliation and Peacemaking Series

  • Women's Federation for World Peace USA 481 8th Ave. Suite 1228 New York, NY 10001 United States (map)

On behalf of Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) USA, it is our great pleasure to invite you to an exciting virtual Global Women’s Peace Network forum, hosted in collaboration with WFWP Korea and Japan.

The program will address the topic of “Women’s Leadership in Reconciliation and Peacemaking- A Unified Korea: Finding Seeds of Hope” and take place on August 17th from 8:30 PM – 10:00 PM EDT.

A peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula has been and is especially now very close to the hearts of WFWP Co-Founders, Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Mrs. Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. Having both been born in what is now North Korea, they have passionately pursued unique solutions to bring together their divided homeland, as a substantial vision of hope to the world. The WFWP international community is proud to support these unification efforts through spreading awareness, cultivating solutions, and enacting peacebuilding activities, such as the 1% Love Share Project and cultural exchanges.

This forum features an incredible lineup of distinguished panelists and personal accounts, describing the realities of the North and South Korean people, and what can be done around the world to assist the humanitarian and peacebuilding efforts.

A full recording of this program will NOT be shared following the session, so we highly encourage those who are interested in hearing from this esteemed panel to join the session live. The principal language of the program will be in Korean, with live interpretation available in English and Japanese.

We greatly hope you will take part in this meaningful event as an impetus for positive change. To further spread aspirations for peace, reunited families, and humanitarian advancement, consider sharing this invitation with those in your community.
