Greetings from WFWP USA! We are happy to share with you important information regarding the 66th annual session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW66) of 2022. This year also marks WFWP International's 25th year as an NGO in General Consultative Status at the ECOSOC at the UN!
Over the two weeks of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in March the NGO CSW Forum takes place, with nearly 700 parallel events sponsored by NGOs. These programs aim to inform, engage and inspire grassroots efforts and advocacy needed to empower women and girls.
This year, the NGO CSW66 Forum, side and parallel events will be entirely virtual, taking place from Monday, March 14 until Friday, March 25, 2022. The priority theme for CSW66 is “Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes.”
In addition, we are pleased to share with you information on events that are being sponsored, co-sponsored or co-organized by WFWP chapters and WFWPI UN offices as part of the NGO CSW66 Forum, and how you can register.

In order to participate in any of the parallel events as part of the NGO CSW Forum, click on the button below to register and get access to the NGO CSW66 Forum Virtual Portal. After you register, you will receive an email with information on how to set up your profile on the Virtual Portal. Please note that you will need to create a new login for the Portal. It will not be the same as the login you created for your registration. We highly suggest to register in advance, to give you time to setup an account.

Important to note, CSW66 side events do not require a formal registration. You may access the side events with the calendar that will be made publicly available through the CSW66 website closer to the session.
Sign Up for the Mailing List to Attend CSW66 Meetings!
There will be no formal registration for CSW66 and no CSW66 grounds passes will be issued. Representatives of NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC are encouraged to sign up to the official CSW66 mailing list here. The sign-up form will allow representatives of ECOSOC-accredited organizations to receive the most up-to-date information regarding the session as it becomes available. This sign up is not a registration form for CSW66.
Live and recordings of the official meetings will be available for viewing by participants in different time zones through the UN Web TV, which will provide interpretation in official UN languages. You may access the UN Web TV here.
