A World Without Parents: Exploring the Value of Parenthood

  • Women's Federation for World Peace USA 481 8th Ave. Suite 1228 New York, NY 10001 United States (map)

In a hypothetical world without parents, society would be fundamentally altered, losing the primary caregivers and role models essential for children's emotional, social, and cognitive development. The absence of parents would disrupt the transmission of cultural values, traditions, and social norms, leaving a profound void. Yet Mother Moon, co-founder of WFWP, suggests that the world is filled with orphans, not just literal ones, but those disconnected from our first parent, the Heavenly Parent.

By becoming parents ourselves, we can begin to reconnect with the Heavenly Parent, fostering stronger bonds in our children in turn. Parenthood's value extends beyond caregiving, creating stable environments where children thrive. As more families reconnect with the source of parental love, our world will become more peaceful.

Join us in honoring National Parents’ Day with our speakers as we discuss the value of parenthood and share personal reflections on how parenting has elevated our spiritual connection and deepened our understanding of divine love.
