The Bridge of Peace is a signature project of Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP), an NGO in General Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC with over 31 years of bringing women together to promote lasting peace in the world. The Bridge of Peace program has been initiated in nations around the world with the aim of bringing together conflicting communities through forgiveness of the past and hope for the future. It consists of reconciliatory and conflict transformation education, a symbolic bridge crossing ceremony and an emphasis on peace projects which serve the wider community.
