Mrs. Deborah Levine

Mrs. Deborah Levine was awarded a HerStory Award for her life-long efforts to foster cross-cultural diversity at the Global Women’s Peace Network Reflect. Reset. Rebuild virtual series on December 9, 2020.

Mrs. Deborah Levine has a passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion inherited from her father, a World War II US military intelligence officer assigned to interrogate Nazi prisoners of war. She has more than 33 years experience consulting on cultural diversity and keynoting for corporations, universities, and professional associations.

A community builder, Mrs. Levine created the Women’s Council on Diversity, the DuPage/Chicago Interfaith Resource Network, and the Southeast Global Leadership School. As a cross-cultural coach, she assisted international executives from Volkswagen, Nissan, and International Paper in adapting to US Southern culture. Her training expertise is bolstered by advanced degrees in cultural anthropology, religion, and urban planning.

She documented her research in multiple journals, is the award-winning author of 15 books, and is Founder/Editor-in-Chief of the American Diversity Report. In her Un-Bias Guide for Leaders, she has invented a cognitive technology for addressing unconscious bias with a neuroscience based workbook.
