Dr. Veronica Ufoegbune has a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership - Administration and Policies, from Pepperdine University, Malibu, California; a Master of Arts degree in Education - Educational Leadership, from Mills College, Oakland Hills, California; and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign European Languages with a Major in French and Minor in German, from the University of Benin,
Benin City, Nigeria. Dr. Veronica Ufoegbune is faculty at Brandman University, and serves at other notable institutions of higher learning; Mills College, California-State University-East Bay, and Chabot College, California. She ensures optimal student learning goals and outcomes and aligns with program learning outcomes. Dr. Ufoegbune designs innovative and research-based curricula that resonate with the multiple abilities, learning needs, and styles of the students in her various cohorts. Dr. Veronica Ufoegbune served as State advisor on issues around early learning and care policies and practices in her role as a
gubernatorial appointee of California State Governor Edmund Brown. She also served as the Chair of the Alameda County Early Care and Educational Planning Council as an appointee of the Alameda County Supervisor Wilma Chan stationed at the Alameda County Public Health Services in San Leandro for several years. Dr. Ufoegbune is the former City Manager of the child-family division in the human services department of the city of Oakland and past Executive Director of early learning at the UC Berkeley, Alameda Unified School District, The Salvation Army school programs and other reputable corporate and non-profit early learning school programs. Dr. Veronica Ufoegbune is an active community leader and on the Board of directors of many organizations such as the United Nations Association, San Francisco East Bay. She has been on the Board of the Issele Association of North America (IANA) since 2006 and has
served IANA in various executive capacities. girl/women empowerment, equity, and social justice. She is very thoughtful, gracious, and dependable leader.
