Rohida Khan
Ms. Rohida Khan plays a crucial role in coordinating and delivering emergency services for victims of human trafficking, including sex and labor trafficking, child sexual exploitation, sex tourism, and other violent crimes. Responsibilities involve assisting agents on the scene, serving as a primary liaison with various agencies, and aiding in the identification of victims. As subject matter expert, they develop training materials and conduct sessions for federal agents, law enforcement officers, educational institutions, district attorney's offices, NGOs, and more.
Notably, they volunteered at an Afghan Refugees Camp in El Paso, providing victim assistance, cultural expertise, and training. Her international involvement includes collaborations with USCIS, and the Consulate Corps of Los Angeles, teaching at the DHS-ILEA in Budapest, representing the Department of Homeland Security in Brunei, and presenting on human trafficking.
She has taught at the University of Southern CA, conducted numerous anti-human trafficking trainings, participated in developing law enforcement curricula, and contributed to the curriculum for a domestic violence program. Additionally, she has spoken at the Institute on Violence, Abuse, and Trauma conference in San Diego as a representative of HSI.
