ABSTINENCE IN DEMAND IN PENNSYLVANIA!!

Based on a desire to promote abstinence until marriage, the Philadelphia chapter of WFWP has initiated an internal-beauty pageant to choose a "Miss Love IQ" from among young people who want to participate. The lives of the mothers who have volunteered to interview and register all the candidates are being profoundly touched throughout the selection process. The final selection of "Miss Love IQ" is scheduled for August.

On May 24, 2014, the 35 "Miss Love IQ" pageant candidates, their families, and guests, including the Sayre Morris Community Center head, gathered at the community center to participate in a seminar on Relationship Intelligence (the foundation of the WFWP Love IQ Program). Everyone there, including the community center staff, had a wonderful time listening to lectures by Mr. Jamal Johnson, who gave a presentation and showed a video of the empowering testimony of a person who found out that abstinence is a matter of self-control, self-leadership, and most of all self-respect.
The event was hosted by Mrs. Jizly Dohou, co-chair of WFWP Pennsylvania. Rev. Dr. Almeda Johnson, theologian, minister, active member of the Superior Court of Wilmington, Delaware, and a graduate of Peoples Law School, opened the meeting in prayer. Ms. Carol Briggs, the community center director, explained that the empowerment of women can be achieved only if they make the right choices regardless of their religious belief, political inclination, or cultural background. Mr. Matthias Hayashi, a graduate of the University of Florida School of Law, captivated the audience's hearts as he told how adopting abstinence in his life had helped build his confidence and given him great concentration to achieve his dream.
Mr. Ryan Hawskin, a well-known DJ from Philadelphia entertained us, followed by the famous City Line Dance exhibitionist, Ms. T. Simmons. Both received warm applause and delighted the audience. Great fun and deep education filled that day for everyone in attendance.
