Poem "Despair"

Editor’s note: This artistic contribution from Sabine Kouassi, a WFWP member of the Michigan chapter, warns us against being overcome by feelings of despair and encourages us to embrace life. We can use this time to re-discover the Divine “Force of Life” within each one of us and find new ways to live our lives to the fullest under our current circumstances.

 Here and There,
Seems like Everywhere!
A Cloud called "Lie" is passing by.
This Lie is dressed up to confuse
Control of Heart and Mind you lose! 

True Life is Love
And Love must grow!
Evil divides and pulls us low
To give the Soul a hopeless blow.

 BUT, AGAIN AND AGAIN,
Didn't you see the Force of Life
Give Birth to us and wish we thrive?
Don't take your Life!
Don't throw it away
And don't stop the Heart of Another!
Please, my Sister, my Brother!

 Despair threatens to destroy
The Miracles in Human Form
Acting fast against your True Will;
A heartless savage, a ruthless monster storm!
Respect and love the Life you were given,
Because so much still to discover about the Art of Livin'!
