President’s Corner: Transitions - Growth - New Hope

Dear friends and colleagues,

Happy March 2021! Happy International Women's Day and Month!

We barely completed our last issue of the Logic of Love News, honoring our founders' birthdays, Black History Month, and an unprecedented 5th Rally of Hope hosted by our founder, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon (stay tuned for updates and reports), and here we are, already in March!

Time has gone by very fast, yet at the same time much occurred during this last month for WFWP USA. In particular, there were several transitions in leadership, we held our first Global Women's Peace Network Forum, we learned of new initiatives like the BC Girls, and more. Seems like the entire globe is spinning faster and is transitioning all of humanity to a new, hopeful level in the midst of the ongoing chaos. We feel a divine power is guiding us, a power that is getting stronger by the day.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to several outgoing WFWP leaders. Mrs. Shirley Chimes, Southwest Regional Coordinator, will move on and work with GWPN, while Mrs. Glenda Lambert will take on Shirley's position. In the Midwest, we thank Minister Fannie Smith, who has been a mover and shaker in the region, and is now moving on to other areas of our organization while remaining our Schools of Africa Director. We welcome Mrs. Sahara Cardenas as the incoming Regional Coordinator along with Mrs. Denise To, her co-leader and assistant. In the Southeast Region, we welcome Mrs. Osmarina Maria Rush, who will be stepping in for Mrs. Natascha Phillips while she is on maternity leave. Finally, we welcome Rev. Laury Hargrett as the new chairwoman for the state of Georgia!

Thanks to all outgoing women leaders for your long years of service, dedication, love and investment. And welcome to all of the incoming ladies, who feel up to the challenge to bring WFWP to the next level in their regions.

Last but not least, a special word of thanks to our dear, capable, well-loved newsletter editor, Mrs. Natascha Phillips, who will complete her service as the editor of the Logic of Love News with this issue as she goes on maternity leave. Thereafter, she will offer her great gifts and talents in a different area of WFWP's work here in America! Please read her farewell letter. She has done a marvelous job, and we thank her profusely!

Greetings also to Mrs. Yoshi Mori, a mother of three, who is stepping in as our new newsletter editor-in-chief! She will introduce herself more prominently in our next edition.

In the spirit of this new month, let us truly celebrate women, their contributions, and their resilience in overcoming all kinds of odds. Through thick and thin, women keep nurturing their families, their society, and our planet. A mother will always be able to adapt to new situations and challenges, and that might just be one reason why women's leadership is so much needed at this time of great transition for humanity.

With that being said, I would like to heartily wish you a wonderful month of March!

Sincerely,

Angelika
