Mother of Peace: The Woman Peace Leader of Today

As a prime example of a woman leader who is dedicated to bringing about a world of peace amidst the global pandemic, Women’s Federation for World Peace Founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon is paving uncharted territory for all countries and peoples to come together for healing and change

Since August of 2020, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon has initiated five global Rallies of Hope to share her message of hope, alongside addresses from heads of state, parliamentarians, Nobel laureates, religious luminaries, and leaders from all sectors of society.

Each of the past five online broadcasts have attracted millions of participants, with the most recent rally on February 27, 2021 drawing the viewership of 320 million people, on more than 455 platforms, across 150 countries. Certainly Dr. Moon, affectionately known as the Mother of Peace, is bringing the world together like never before.

Her Founder’s Addresses continue to signal the need for change; to turn away from selfishness as the cause of pain, division, war, and conflict; to align in heart with our Creator and the priorities and responsibilities that follow; and to unite and work together as stewards to heal this world. Finding hope in our current climate is not just something one wishes for, but actively participates in actualizing.

As shared by our WFWP USA President Angelika Selle following a Rally of Hope program, “The good news is that those who are willing and able to do so will experience a personal transformation that allows them to see themselves and others in a new light, which is the prerequisite for positive change. Inner transformation will open the floodgates of discovering new, creative and exciting solutions to all problems and to experiencing real connectedness as one human family.”

An additional poignant issue that has been on Dr. Moon’s heart is to peacefully bring together her divided home country of Korea. As a spiritually rooted nation with great divine potential in the context of the world, this separation also holds heavy on the heart of the Creator. To unite the divided country again would spread substantial hope and inspiration throughout this world hardened by conflict.

Like sparks, these rallies and messages continue to ignite the hearts of millions around the globe, inspiring new hope in their lives and changing their mindsets. As mentioned in her recently published memoir, Mother of Peace: And God Shall Wipe Away Their Tears, “When our mindset changes from wishing to receive love, to wishing to give love, the world of peace will be at hand.”
