Preparing Kits for Disaster Relief—National Initiative

WFWP is partnering with International Relief Friendship Foundation (IRFF) to support families in Florida who were impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Ian. IRFF was also founded by Father and Mother Moon to respond to disasters with a loving heart. 

While disaster response is fairly costly work, IRFF partners with agencies and responds in small but meaningful ways that do what they can to help people that are often neglected by the "big boys" of the industry. So IRFF has worked extensively with a well-experienced organization, Christian Disaster Response (CDR), and Dr. Ron Patterson who has more than 50 years experience and was formerly a trainer of National Red Cross workers.

There's a very simple way anyone can help these families who are facing this extraordinary crisis! IRFF is providing two types of kits that are needed in the thousands. These kits are part of what we call "Gifts of the Heart." The kits needed now are: (a) Personal Health Kits and (b) Cleaning Kits.

Please see below more information about how to create each kit. If you are inspired, we hope several of our WFWP chapters will be able to send a few kits.

• Think about including a short note of support and love in each kit.

• You can even just forward the info below to a few people to create and send kits individually.
