President's Corner: Happy Parent's Day

Dear friends,

HAPPY NATIONAL PARENTS DAY 2022!

This special national holiday was initiated by our WFWP co-founders Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and her husband Rev Sun Myung Moon. It was approved under the Clinton Administration. In 1994, Congress unanimously passed “The Parents’ Day Resolution” establishing the fourth Sunday of July as a perennial day of commemoration

On this day each year, Americans recognize outstanding parents, celebrate teamwork in raising children, and support the role of parental guidance in building a strong, stable society.

Throughout the nation in almost every state, community leaders organize Parents’ Day events to honor parents. We will bring you more coverage of the  national 2022 Parents Day celebration on July 24, in our next Logic of Love News.

In honor of this special holiday, we are happy to share with you several articles on family and a special lead article on “Parenting – A Partnership with God” written by our Mrs Myrna Lapres, a certified family and relationship coach,  who also serves on our national WFWP USA Board, and GWPN coordinator of Northern California.
