Bridge of Peace: A Heartfelt Journey of Healing and Connection
Written by: Adia Lancaster
In the spirit of “Peace Starts with Me,” the Las Vegas chapter of WFWP recently hosted a beautiful Bridge of Peace event, bringing together women for healing, reconciliation, and deeper sisterhood. Rooted in Mother Moon’s Peace Philosophy, this gathering focused on three key pillars: reconciliation, bridging generations, and embracing a motherly heart.
At the heart of the event was the desire to create a space where women could heal old wounds and experience personal and communal reconciliation. As participants crossed the symbolic bridge, they embraced their sisters in an act of unity, leaving past hurts behind and opening themselves to renewed connections.
Another powerful aspect of the event was bridging generations, reminding us that peace is a shared responsibility across all ages. Women of different generations came together, sharing their experiences and wisdom, creating a space of mutual respect and purpose.
The nurturing, unconditional love of a motherly heart was a central theme throughout the day. By embodying this spirit of love and acceptance, participants created a supportive environment where everyone felt valued and heard.
What made this event especially unique was the collaborative support from sisters across various WFWP chapters. Sisters from Los Angeles, Hawaii, and local members all contributed in meaningful ways, from creating beautiful backdrops to sharing island-inspired gifts. This collective effort turned the day into a true celebration of sisterhood.
The impact of this event went beyond just those in attendance. A sister from Michigan, inspired by the experience, decided to host a Bridge of Peace event in her own community. Another participant, who had attended previous events, felt moved to officially join WFWP after witnessing the profound power of the gathering.
Throughout the event, many participants shared how they felt the presence of a beautiful spirit guiding and blessing the day. From meaningful “coincidences” to heartfelt moments during the bridge crossing, it was clear that this day was divinely inspired.
As we move forward, we encourage participants to stay connected with their sister pairs, continuing their journey of healing and friendship. Plans are underway for a follow-up brunch in December, where we’ll come together to reflect, reconnect, and prepare for the year ahead.
This Bridge of Peace was more than just an event—it was a transformative experience that strengthened our sense of sisterhood and deepened our commitment to peace. Together, we are building a world of love, hope, and harmony, one step at a time.
