WFWP Hawai‘i Chapter Meet & Greet President Kaeleigh Potluck Dinner

The WFWP Hawai‘i Chapter hosted a heartwarming Meet & Greet Potluck Dinner for WFWP-USA President Kaeleigh Moffitt on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Honolulu Family Learning Center. This special gathering, attended by 33 participants marked President Kaeleigh’s first visit to Hawai‘i and provided an opportunity for local members to meet her in person. The evening’s program, led by Donna Shaver, WFWP-HI Chairwoman, began with a warm welcome as President Kaeleigh was presented with a beautiful tuberose and red rose lei, a gesture embodying the “aloha” spirit.
The potluck dinner was a culinary delight, featuring a wide array of homemade dishes and specialties that showcased the diversity of Hawaiian and international cuisine. Attendees enjoyed lively conversations and a spirit of camaraderie, with President Kaeleigh taking the time to connect personally with each guest. Her heartfelt speech highlighted her journey to becoming WFWP President, overcoming challenges, and expressing deep gratitude for the foundation laid by women leaders before her. Her words, filled with the vision of Mother Moon, resonated deeply with everyone present, inspiring a renewed commitment to the mission of WFWP.
A highlight of the evening was the exchange of gifts, where President Kaeleigh received locally made treasures, including Maui and Kauai cookies, Lehua honey, and a silk scarf, as tokens of appreciation. Guests included notable figures such as Rev. Jeff and Keiko Nakama, Rev. Ernie Ho, and Doris Edwards, who contributed to the evening’s joyous and heartistic atmosphere. The event concluded with smiles, laughter, and an overwhelming sense of connection, embodying the true spirit of the WFWP mission.

Marie Francoise-Mitchell shared, “The ambiance during the Meet & Greet evening was magical, jovial, and comforting. It connected us with True Mother’s heart and put Hawai‘i on the map for good! We are now hoping and praying for the next level—an official visit from True Mother herself!”
