GWPN Quarterly Impact Report (January – March 2025)
The first quarter of 2025 was a powerful launchpad for the Global Women’s Peace Network (GWPN) as we boldly lifted the theme:
“The Feminine Edge: Why Women’s Leadership Matters.”
From city halls to living rooms, from interfaith sanctuaries to vibrant Zoom calls, women gathered to lead, reflect, serve, and celebrate—and the energy was undeniable. Together, we sparked a movement rooted in authenticity, collaboration, and bold feminine leadership.
Thanks to the passion and dedication of WFWP leaders and partners, 20 vibrant events were hosted, co-sponsored, or attended by WFWP chapters, reaching 288 women, with 42% attending for the very first time! These events became catalysts for connection and inspiration—proving that when women lead from the heart, transformation follows.
🌟 Honoring HerStory: Women Leading Change
Throughout the quarter, we proudly celebrated over 15 exceptional women leaders through six HerStory Award ceremonies—each story a beacon of resilience, innovation, and courage. One incredible elected leader received the Global Women Peace Ambassador Award for her tireless advocacy and public service, reminding us what’s possible when leadership is rooted in love.
Collaboration made this impact even stronger—with more than five events co-hosted with past HerStory honorees and partner organizations, deepening GWPN’s growing network of peacebuilders. Meanwhile, the HerStory Podcast continued amplifying these voices nationwide, featuring four remarkable women whose leadership continues to shape their communities.
🧤 January: Service, Celebration & Seeds of Love
