COLLECTING TOYS, APPRECIATING 2015, ANTICIPATING 2016

On December 13, members of the Arizona Chapter of WFWP hosted a gathering to appreciate the support of all those who supported and helped them in 2015. At the same time, they wanted to reciprocate through supporting Ms. Elizabeth Inganamort of Falcon's Guard Center in a toy drive to send toys to needy children in Mexico. Three of the ladies who came, Ms. Elizabeth Inganamort, Ms. Dorada Basaca, and Ms. Veronica Sevilla Villalobos, had attended WFWP's 23rd National Assembly in Washington, D.C., in October.

A number of new members joined WFWP that day: the reigning Miss Earth Arizona, Miss Asia Espiritu Dising; her very supportive mother, Mrs. Grace Esoiritu Dising; Miss Lauren Casildo, Ms. Griselda Varela, and Ms. Jesus Molina. We are looking forward to working together with them more in 2016!

The Arizona Chapter also recognized the ladies from Japan, led by Mrs. Keiko Moreno, for their great investment of time and heart in creating lovely origami boxes that were given to those who came and signed membership. These talented ladies made the gifts on their own initiative to support the Arizona Chapter and encourage our guests to become members.

Several guests who helped us this year gave moving testimonies of their experiences with WFWP in the past year and of what they learned while attending the National Assembly. Ms. Basaca said she learned a lot about leadership, namely, that it starts within, when we clean our hearts to help others. She sees WFWP as a wonderful and inspiring group that empowers women and lives for others.

Ms. Inganamort spoke about her life and how she met WFWP through Ms. Rhia Clemente, and found God's answer on that day to keep her vision. She was re-energized to do more to help others through her Falcon's Guard Center. She wants to cooperate with WFWP to reach out and empower people's lives.

Ms. Cecille Maglalang said how moved she is to see the examples of living for the sake of others that she has witnessed in WFWP. The humility, smiles, and genuine love of our WFWP members from so many diverse nations speaks volumes. Despite the barrier of language, the heart and love within allow us all to understand each other.

There were lots of homemade foods, enough for a feast. Truly it was an international event! There were families from many diverse countries that came and brought many wonderful toys to send to Mexico. The members in the Arizona Chapter truly feel God's heart to work together to heal the pain of those in need and to support others who feel a calling to serve others. 2016 will be a new year to continue WFWP's role of sharing the mother's heart in our families and communities.
