Women’s Federation for World Peace is currently looking for a skilled Webmaster/Webmistress/Web Developer who is creative, innovative, and experienced in maintaining the look, feel, and consistency of the website, including content organization and design in both areas. Some of the skills needed are:

Web Developer

  • Organization and development of new sections and subsections, adding articles onto website

  • Proficiency in maintaining/adding content to a PHP based Website (CMS: Content Management System) – Joomla & Wordpress preferred

  • Past experience/fluency with CSS, HTML, PHP, and MySQL

  • Basic Photo Editing Skills

  • Fluency in written English, and experience editing, or writing articles

  • Self-motivated, proactive individual who does not require much guidance

  • Ability to work from home with own software/hardware

  • Experience troubleshooting and fixing website related issues and updating hosted software and plugins

  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, or reverse engineer old systems without help

  • Work well with the rest of the WFWP team and President to introduce changes and develop new features for the website

  • Manage a password protected member-only area

  • Attend occasional conference calls as needed
