WFWP Newsletter Editor Natascha Phillips

Hello to our readers around the nation! My name is Natascha Phillips. Thank you for being peacebuilders in your homes and communities and supporting the efforts of WFWP to uplift and transform our world into one of peace and love.

It is my great honor to serve as the Logic of Love Newsletter editor, and as I have now had a couple of months to learn the ropes and acclimate to this role, as well as my recent move to the United States, allow me to tell you a little bit about myself and why I am motivated to do what I do.

My involvement with WFWP began when I attended a Middle East Women’s Conference in 2012 (I was living in Lebanon at the time), but it really took off a couple of years later in Australia, when I had the opportunity to meet local WFWP leaders and work closely with them on several projects, including the launch of the Global Women’s Peace Network.

This work was one of the main reasons that ultimately led me to pursue an MBA in NGO management in my home country of Germany, and I supported various European WFWP chapters during my two years there, particularly in the areas of media and communication. I served as the vice president of WFWP Germany until I moved to the US this year to join the love of my life and start our lives together.

Within WFWP I have found the most remarkable female role models: women of deep faith that have dedicated their life to work for what they believe in; women that have persevered through seemingly insurmountable obstacles to reach incredible heights; women from different races, nations, languages and cultures that embrace as sisters wherever they meet on this earth. Where else would I be able to find such a network of love?

Thank you so much for all that you do. I am here because of you and because of the vision for peace that our WFWP founder has instilled in all of us. I want to use this newsletter as a tool to spread a message of hope, because we could all do with more positive news in our lives!
