SELF WORTH AND CONNECTING WITH OTHERS: WFWP NORTHERN CALIFORNIA CONTINUES LEADERSHIP OF THE HEART CURRICULUM

The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of WFWP continued the study of the Leadership of the Heart Curriculum on Saturday, April 7th with the section on Self Worth. About twenty women gathered to participate in the program. We began the program with a Bridge of Peace Ceremony so each person had a “sister” as her sharing partner during the presentation. The Bridge Ceremony created a beautiful atmosphere that promotes deep sharing. Topics included how we can more deeply feel our divinity and God’s love and what things prevent us from doing this. There was very lively and heartfelt sharing among the partners that continued after the program was finished.

Reflection from one participant:

"It was my first time to attend this meeting and it was so great to be here. I talked about my family issues right after the meditation and it was really good to have someone to share with. It was my first time to share my thoughts and feelings with someone whom I had just met! I could open my heart to her. It was a really great meeting."
