WFWP MEETING IN COLUMBUS FEATURING THE HAPPY HEALTH CLUB

There were 6 in attendance at the Women's Federation for World Peace meeting at the Columbus Metropolitan Library on Karl Road on August 3rd 2012. Due to renovations going on at the Lovin' Life Center, we will use this location for our meetings and events in the future. It is a convenient location for our members, with a large parking lot and a friendly, clean atmosphere.

Today, the program was centered on a demonstration from the Happy Health Club by Miyuki Fujikake. We watched a video about the development of the machine by Peace World International. It was interesting to see how the machine operated to help with health issues using acupressure points in the body. Kathy Isom volunteered to get on the massage table for an on-hands demonstration. Marcia Schlichting tried out the foot acupressure machine with an added acupressure pad for the back to help in restoring circulation to the legs. We were all interested in seeing how the machine worked, but understood that healing would not come immediately – it would take time for it to work. We would like to be involved in learning more about restoring our bodies to better health and I think we will have more meetings on this subject.

Next week, we will continue to discuss and learn about the Relationship Intelligence Training (formally known as Clean Slate) program which we plan to introduce in the Columbus school system.
