WFWP RECOGNIZED FOR GREAT SERVICE TO OTHERS
The Pennsylvania Chapter of WFWP is now a registered organization in Pennsylvania. As such we were invited to attend the Women's Club of Upper Darby meeting on January 20 for the inauguration of new officers of the Delaware County Committee. The Pennsylvania Chapter received outstanding recognition in the community where we function as "a women's organization that has a great record of service to others."
For two years the chapter has been networking and forging alliances with different organizations in the area and WFWP's work is highly regarded by people in our society. There were many organizations represented at the meeting that were introduced and honored by the Women's Club members, including social, political, business, and civic organizations.
WFWP is not only working as a peacemaker, we have also shown our care for the younger generation by protecting and engaging them in youth abstinence programs and other youth development programs. Middle and high school students in different school districts are invited to participate in these programs that will help them become peacemakers as well.
