Each person is a leader;
you lead every day.
Sometimes we lead unconsciously,
just part of our daily journey.
Making decisions, whether
quick or long-term, takes
leadership skills, surely
you will affirm.

Take running a household,
now that can be a trip.
But you do effortlessly
out of love for kinship.
Assuming a leadership role
is what you do naturally,
and you don't have to be told,
let alone shown.

Just ask a former first lady
who led exuding grace.
She pulled from what she knew
to seemingly glide from
place to place.
She led her pet project
on the world stage,
where many would later
join her, for many would
become engaged.

And now it's time for you to release and
make your mark for world peace.
Do know that good leaders
have keen minds
and lead with compassionate hearts.
Now go and rise up!
You're already equipped; you're
off with a running start.
