TEA ANYONE?
Tea brings back good memories of relaxation, time with friends and family, and in my case, watching Downton Abbey. As a lover of all types of tea, I have been waiting for an opportunity to make a homemade, whole spice chai tea. (Recipe Here)
Knowing that Women’s Federation for World Peace USA was supporting the God Bless America Family Festival, held in New York on Sunday June 5, by hosting a vendor table at the event; I wondered if this might be my chance to design the table. Our headquarters team thought up many different vendor ideas, and we settled (with my two thumbs up approval), on a tea time theme!
Our Vice President Katarina Connery helped to decorate an awesome photo booth for our table, and we sold the chai tea packets to support WFWP’s 1% Love Share Project.
The 1% Love Share Project is a simple program built to exemplify and manifest many of our founders’ ideals. This program has been around since 2001, but has yet to take off here in America. We are looking for different ways and means to expand this program here in America, as we know one of our commissions as a nation is to lift up those who need aid, and those without power and a voice.
We would like to share with you some of the adorable photos that came out of our family festival photo booth, as well as the detailed description of the 1% Love Share Project. If it speaks to what you believe in, please sign up today!
