END OF YEAR MESSAGE

Dear Friends,

As this year is coming to a close, I would like to THANK YOU for your ongoing support and loyalty to Women's Federation for World Peace USA!

I already mentioned in our previous E-News that we have had much to be grateful for in 2014 in terms of many new developments with our younger generation, service to areas of need like the Philippines, and much more. To give you a preview of what might come next year, I would like to share with you a bit about our end-of-the-year board meeting.

This year's second annual national board meeting, which was held in New York City at our WFWP USA headquarters, was filled with a new kind of energy and excitement. Our board members gathered in a beautifully seasonally decorated conference room on November 22 to review this year and make plans for next year. We also welcomed a new younger generation member to the board, Teresa Ferrete, who had assisted WFWP as the events coordinator for this year's 22nd national assembly.

Overall, we were grateful that nearly all the goals and objectives for 2014 had been fulfilled. Yet when it came to the "brainstorming session," under the youthful and innovative facilitation of Ms. Ferrete, we filled six single-spaced sheets with ideas for 2015!! Clearly, this will be a year of growth! Therefore, we decided that the theme for WFWP USA in 2015 will be "GROWTH"! That is, growth on ALL levels -- personally, spiritually, service, expansion of activities, membership, and new circles of friends.

Once a young person asked me what is the one emotion that WFWP can be described by or should be known for? Without hesitation I answered simply, JOY!

We therefore invite you to continue the partnership, sponsorship, and fellowship with us in this coming year, which promises to be a year of great adventure, with new horizons, positive change, and fulfillment.

Here's to a Happy 2015!

Warmly,
Angelika
