PRESIDENT’S CORNER AUGUST ‘17
Dear friends,
This month, the spirit and excitement of the July 15th, 2017 “Peace Starts With Me” Festival at Madison Square Garden continues to resonate in people’s hearts and minds, in addition to the message of the Founder of WFWP International, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.
The “Peace Starts With Me” theme itself stirred up much thought, especially in our WFWP ladies, who want to make peace a lasting reality. Therefore, many of our chapters decided to have follow-up programs and discussions, as we also did on the national level.
Our last monthly national webinar, entitled “Creating and Keeping Compassionate Connection,” provided much food for thought and many insights as to how “Peace Starts With Me” can be seen from the point of view of relationships and quality of communication. In his presentation, Mr. Banks made one profound point by asking the question, “In your relationships, do you want to Correct or Connect?” He then elaborated on how one can transform negative feelings into positive ones. Surely, if everyone would adhere to these ways of communication, peace would be established in no time. Do you agree?

We are currently far away from experiencing peace. In addition to working on ourselves, as peace does start with the individual, we also need to call on the Higher power through prayer for ourselves and others.
In preparation for International Peace Day, on September 21, I would like to put out a call for prayer for our country of America, for all world leaders to be guided by their higher consciousness of goodness, for our communities and families and ourselves to be infused with divine love, and be active agents of peace.
