PRESIDENT’S CORNER

Dear friends,

Did you have a good and enjoyable Mother's Day? Grandmother's Day? Stepmother's Day? Foster Mother's Day?

As we continue to uplift, celebrate, honor, and thank our mothers, we would like to take the opportunity in this Logic of Love News first May edition to highlight the heart of our WFWP Founder, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, whom we also call ‘Mother of Peace.’ From an early age, she was quite an extraordinary person-- one who loved God above all else. Already at age 17, she promised her Creator she would dedicate her entire life to working for world peace and to a lifestyle of living for the sake of others. And, indeed, from then on to the present, she has never wavered from that path one iota. Please enjoy reading something her husband said about her, recorded in the brief excerpt below entitled ‘An Incomparable Inner Beauty,’ from the book "A Peace-Loving Global Citizen," an autobiography by the late Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon.

We very much look forward to welcoming Dr. Moon back here in the United States on June 22, 2019, in the great city of Las Vegas (Spanish for "the meadows"), where she will deliver yet another message of hope on the subject "Peace Starts With Me: A Celebration of Unity." It takes a mother's heart to bring about unity, bridging the great divides we find everywhere in today's world.

Here is to the motherly heart that continues to be both the motor and the fuel that propels forward our women and mothers in WFWP USA and worldwide toward the goal of the firm establishment of peace.
