Rev. Gwendolyn Appleberry

Rev. Gwendolyn Appleberry was awarded one of two HerStory Awards at the Midwest launch of the Global Women's Peace Network on October 18, 2019.

Rev. Gwendolyn Appleberry is a licensed and ordained minister of metaphysical science. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Metaphysics and continued her minister studies at Johnnie Coleman institute for 17 years. She is actively involved in her community and has worked closely with the Chicago Board of Education, where she gave child and parent seminars and workshops.

Additionally, Rev. Appleberry has worked closely with the city of Chicago for Economic Development in Englewood as a Chairperson, as well as with the 7th District Police Department Clergy Executive Board of Directors as Co-Chair. She has received numerous outstanding awards for her contributions and public service. She is a writer of four chapters in four different books.

Currently, Rev. Appleberry hosts a radio show called “Good Words for Better Living” in her local area, and she interviews individuals that empower the growth of the Englewood community and its neighboring communities. Rev. Appleberry has graciously been pastoring at God’s Gift Ministries for over 19 years.
