Following your passion by taking a leap of faith

WFWP members caught up with former WFWP Texas chairwoman Justine Cherutich with the “Wealth Wisdom for Women” webinar on October 29th, 2020. Justine shared an exciting testimony about how she turned her passion into a career. She always had in her heart the desire to learn about trading stocks on the stock market. She is a mother of two, and has been a nurse and a business owner, and now with her children grown up, and with the support of her husband, she has taken this big leap. And she has never been happier. 

After 30 years working to support her family and doing various mission works with her husband, Charles, Justine is delighted to be able to do things that before were financial impossibilities, like traveling to Kenya and supporting mission work there! She has made great financial gains and also suffered big losses, but she has found the place where God has called her and is doing good through her.

“Any activity has a spiritual side and a physical side, and you need to listen to your gut, to your inner being, what it is telling you...Any time you do something with joy, you will succeed, no matter what.”

Justine’s hope is that young people, too, will take inspiration from her story and begin educating themselves and investing, so they can finance their dreams, and be free and able to give back to their communities. She shared about the online school she attended to learn about stock trading and how she at first practiced trading using a simulation. She also revealed some of her tips and strategies.

“I’m just sharing not because of many successes, but because of the possibilities. I am really a novice, but I know there are many people who may know more about stocks, but have never been able to overcome their fears.”

Justine wholeheartedly encouraged the participants that whatever endeavor you are curious to undertake, put aside your fear and take a risk, because happiness and fulfillment are waiting for you. Even something as daunting as trading on the stock market can be done with good information, a solid plan, and a heart aligned with God’s Purpose.
