Recent Highlights from our Global Friend, Buhay Buhay sa Amerika

WFWP Arizona Chairwoman Rhia Luz has been actively involved in giving back to the community as well as spreading awareness about important issues through her radio program, Buhay Buhay sa Amerika (BBSA) — buhay means “life” in English.

As one of the first organizations to become a Global Friend of WFWP USA, BBSA is closely aligned with our mission and values, and we are proud to see how far it has come in providing valuable and much-needed positive media content. Featured below are a few of the recent episodes we would like to highlight:

October 10 - BBSA gave back to the community. They were able to distribute food boxes to more than 13 families that day, bringing the total to 60 food boxes since August. This was possible thanks to generous donors that offered support through BBSA.

October 19 - As October is National Violence Awareness Month, BBSA hosted an episode on “Bringing Awareness to Domestic Violence”.

October 30 - Two guest speakers from High Noon, an organization dedicated to sexual integrity and helping individuals struggling with pornography, were invited to speak on the topic “Purity and Fidelity in a Pornified Culture”.
