Congratulations to All Parents of the Year 2022!

As a member of the National Parents Day's National Selection Committee for several years now, representing WFWP USA, it has been a wonderful experience to read the deeply moving stories of the candidates who are annually submitted for the Parents of the Year Award from each state and region in the United States!

At a time in our nation when traditional family values seem to have been dwindling to a frighteningly low level, we are more than eager to look for and find exemplary married couples and families who still uphold the values of faith, loyalty, raising children of goodness and civic responsibility, and living lives of community service.

Our candidates come from all sorts of cultures and spiritual backgrounds. Some are immigrants to the United States, others grew up here. Some are old, some young. But somehow so many of these couples had to face heartbreaking situations or daunting obstacles. Yet they found the inner strength, faith, and resilience to persevere and overcome those challenges, coming out stronger and richer and receiving blessings from our God who honored their heart, righteousness, and faith in His word and principles. WFWP USA will continue to honor exemplary parents throughout the year to increase hope and awareness of there being so many wonderful families in our country, and to inspire the next generation in particular to commit to one spouse and to providing a home of love and caring for their children. 

Would you not agree that, if we increase the number of healthy and happy families, many of our social ills would fade?

Here is to all parents who were nominated for the Parents of the Year Award, and who will be nominated in the future!

And congratulations to the National Parents of the Year 2022—Mr. Edward Polk and his wife Sharon—as well as to all Parents of the Year who received the honor on the state and local levels last month!
