HerTribe January 2025: Growing Deep Roots
January's HerTribe meetups centered around the theme "Growing Deep Roots," inspired by Mother Moon’s message about the importance of patience and faith in growth. Reflecting on the long journey it takes for an olive tree to establish its roots, the groups explored how growth in our own lives—whether spiritual, personal, or communal—requires time, perseverance, and trust in God’s plan.
During the meetings, participants shared their personal bucket lists for the year, with many expressing dreams of travel and new adventures. They also took part in the "Roots of My Tree" activity, where each person reflected on the foundations that nourish them—our roots—and the strengths that support them. This reflective exercise helped everyone connect more deeply and share both their challenges and aspirations.
One touching moment came when a participant shared how HerTribe has become a cherished time just for herself, a break from her busy life of caring for her family. Another first-time attendee, a young mother, left the meeting inspired to bring a friend to the next gathering, showing the natural growth of the group.
Overall, January’s HerTribe meetups were a beautiful start to the year, creating a space for women to nurture their roots, support one another, and grow together in faith and community.
