On March 2, 2018, WFWP Detroit hosted for the third year in a row the Church Women United (CWU) Detroit Chapter Day of Prayer with Reverend Debra Grubbs, the President of CWU Detroit chapter. We have opened our doors to them and embraced them. Our prayers throughout the program were for women, children, and youth, and families around the world.

Reverend David Kasbow gave a report about WFWP Founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon’s recent visit in Africa, which was received very well. Dr. Moon attended a conference to which members of all 54 African nations were invited. She went to the place of the most suffering in Africa, which is Gorée Island, where Africans were forced onto slave ships bound for North America and Europe. She prayed with a mother's heart to liberate the resentment of those slaves. It was a good inspiration of what women can accomplish and a great example of a woman spiritual leader.

Later, we sang music of praise and had a soloist. It was a nice event and a good group of women.
