GETTING TO KNOW YOU!
On Saturday, December 5, ladies from different backgrounds came together for a "Getting to Know You Potluck Brunch." The brunch was hosted by Ms. Sandy Kastel, founder and lead singer of Women in Music and Arts (WIMA), at her lovely home. Women from WIMA and the Las Vegas Chapter of WFWP came together in a joyful celebration with much laughter and deep-hearted sharing over a potluck luncheon.
Many of the women who came had attended the successful November 19 International Masquerade Ball that WFWP Las Vegas Chapter and WIMA had co-sponsored to raise funds to send to the WFWP Schools of Africa Project. The very successful Masquerade Ball was featured in the December Logic of Love News for those who would like to know more about it. There is also a video on the website showing the highlights. What a great opportunity it was to meet again and get to know each other in a more intimate setting! Everyone was enthusiastic to continue to work together for a common purpose and often asked, "When is the next meeting?" With comments like that, 2016 promises to be an even more active and vibrant year for WFWP Las Vegas than 2015.
