LINDA MARCHANT PERRY: IN MEMORIUM
Women’s Federation for World Peace is bidding farewell to a beloved woman leader, mother, and elder sister, Linda Perry, who passed into the eternal world. She was surrounded by her three lovely daughters who sang: "The Rose."
We are deeply grateful for and proud of all her accomplishments, and in particular for the wonderful foundation she helped to lay for the Women's Federation for World Peace here in America! She held the position of Secretary General of Women's Federation for World Peace for many of the founding years of the organization. Her determination and eye for detail was critical in achieving WFWP's NGO status with ECOSOC, one of the highest granted to NGOs at the United Nations. This is one WFWP still holds today, making it possible to continue to reach women globally. Even after retiring from a position in WFWP, she remained an active member of the organization, praying together with the members every night and doing service projects with them.
She spent her last years on the Florida coast in the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Maio and
Alexander Baiocco. She was happy until the end and her love was felt and shared throughout her journey.
Mission or not, title or not, she never stopped loving God, people, church, and family, which, in her mind, were one and the same. Our love and prayers also go to her lovely and accomplished daughters and close family at this time of grief and loss.
We thank and applaud Linda for her great contributions as one of the pioneers of WFWP here in the US, and for her exemplary life of "living for the sake of others" motivated purely by the Logic of Love.
Linda was sent off on in a wonderful celebration of her life, much joy and dance, as she requested.
We love you and miss you, Linda!
