NATIONAL PARENTS' DAY 2019 PHOTO REPORT

Each year, in honor of Parents’ Day, exemplary parents are selected by a national committee as Parents of the Year in categories representing faith communities, outstanding personal sacrifice and civic leadership, as well as one couple chosen to be overall Parents of the Year. WFWP USA President Angelika Selle was co-chair of the selection committee this year (her speech is available here), together with former Congressman Dan Burton of Indianapolis.

In an award ceremony held at the Washington Times in Washington, DC on July 24th, 2019, eight couples were recognized for their loving parental hearts, including overall Parents of the Year 2019 Alisa and Daniel Ellis. Our readers may remember Alisa as one of the excellent panelists at the recent southwest regional launch of the Global Women’s Peace Network in Las Vegas on June 22 (read report here).
