2011 ANNUAL BENEFIT FOR THE SCHOOLS OF AFRICA

The 2011 Northern California WFWP Annual Benefit for the Schools of Africa was held on October 3rd at the Bay Area Family Church. This year we held a "Second Chance Boutiqe" where we sold gently used jewelry and women's accessories that were donated by WFWP members and friends. We set up tables out side of the church on Sunday after the service where women could shop for handbags, scarves, all sorts of jewelry and various knickknacks.

People had a lot of fun finding real bargains and beautiful things at such reasonable prices. Many men also bought things for their wives. In addition to the accessories, we sold Japanese lunch boxes to raise funds for the schools.

Because we had a lot of things left over we will do it again the first weekend of December.
