INAUGURAL CEREMONY TWO PENNSYLVANIA CO-CHAIRWOMEN
On Saturday, February 11, despite the snowy weather conditions, 45 participants attended the WFWP inaugural ceremony. During this event, two chairladies were inaugurated: Mrs. Jizly Dohou as chairwoman of Philadelphia and Mrs. Rita Baldwin as chairwoman of Pittsburgh. They will be co-chairwomen for the state of Pennsylvania. It was a touching moment of recognizing the foundation of WFWP in Philadelphia with an award honoring Mrs. Vicky Tate, who was the former chairwoman there.
The event was emceed by Mrs. Alice Kaady. Welcoming remarks were given by Mrs. Jizly Dohou. A video presentation showing the relevance of WFWP in our society was presented by the District 3 Chairwoman Rev. Denneze Nelson. The guest speaker was Lady Linda Sutton. She is the director of the Church of Lord Jesus Christ.
Following the program, a women's fair began, with the theme of promoting and building spiritual and physical health.
The fair was full of fun and enjoyment with healthy food demos--desserts by Felicitas, sushi by chef Bernadine Roberts, smoothies by Maria Aguilera, and Qigong exercises by Cresentia Hinkle.
