MAN OF TRUE LOVE--COMMEMORATING CO-FOUNDER'S ASCENSION

WFWP was part of the invitational committee to celebrate the first anniversary of the ascension of Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon, husband of our founder, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.

The event was held on September 7, 2013 at the New Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Los Angeles, CA. After a video of Rev. Moon's life, we heard testimonials from clergy of various religious organizations. The words that touched me most came from Imam Haithan Bundakji who said, "Rev. Moon taught me the Divine Principle through the eyes of the Quran, and through this I was able to put the words, "true love" into my dictionary. Until then my heart was filled with hate. Now I can honestly say that I love you all as my brothers and sisters."

Ms. Nina Alexander

Ms. Nina Alexander, who is one of the original WFWP members in Los Angeles, offered a testimony of when she met Rev. and Mrs. Moon. Ms. Rebecca Calix sang a beautiful ballad about her love for her spiritual father and Mr. Keith Williams brought the house down with, "Peace, Shalom, Salam Aleikum."

The afternoon concluded with a lovely lunch and lots of fellowship.
