Shine
voices of the skies like
stars
shoot through me your light
I fear not
the sword of your word
for your tune
is the wind beneath my wings ...




Heart of Spring

Rejoice
in the rebirth of earth
freeing herself
from the toils of bitter winter
its spoils, the meltdown

finding therein
a treasure easily looked over
that age-old balm
lying dormant, gaining power
beneath, unseen

budding trees
their new wear as if dressing
for a feast
their fragrance in rain water
and the sound of love throughout
